Cooking and entertaining at home has become increasingly popular, and the second annual culinary series, “Cooking on the Edge with Chef Nieto,” will show you how to become a celebrity in your own kitchen and pick up a few chef secrets along the way. Culinary students will be guided by Chef Nieto as they prepare a three-course meal, and then enjoy the meal at the Chef’s Table accompanied by a wine pairing.

The February 6th cooking class pays tribute to Chef Nieto’s signature Valentine’s Day selections from LA Prime restaurant, starting with a scallop benedict with wild rocket, crispy serrano ham, toasted brioche and extra virgin olive oil béarnaise. The second course is a pan-seared halibut with baby brussel sprouts and porcini mushroom nage. A decadent desert of vanilla bean and white chocolate ganache cake with rose & champagne sorbet will provide a sweet ending. Selected wines will be paired with each course.
